I had a interview with Coach Marino concerning about the game against Venice High School.

The first question; “When is the game?”

Coach Marino’s response; “Friday night. At Venice.”

I replied; “What time?”

Coach Marino responded; “7:30 kickoff.”

The next question I asked was, “What’s your confidence level playing against them?”

Coach Marino’s response; “They’re a good football team. They’ve played with a really difficult schedule as have we. There undefeated. We feel confident but we know the challenge ahead of us. It’s a tall, tall task. But we feel good about our guys, and we are going to go down there and give them our best shot.”

I then questioned; “Is there any rivalry that we should know about?”

Coach Marino’s response; “We’ve played them in the past, but we don’t play them as consistently as county teams like Manatee or Southeast, so it’s not to that level of familiarity, but we do play Venice and we have played them in the past. There’s always that Sarasota County- Manatee County rivalry.”
