Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had success recently within the 2020 NFL playoffs. As the 5 seed with an 11-5 record in the NFC, the Bucs opened up Wildcard weekend playing against the NFC East champion Washington Football Team. Washington has a top 5 defense in the NFL, but a mediocre offense. Bucs played a tough game, and finished getting the win. The final score was 31-23. Tom Brady and Mike Evans both had great games. They move onto the divisional round to play division rival New Orleans Saints.
The Bucs had lost both meetings in the regular season, including a 38-3 massacre. Brady and the Bucs had come to play this time, winning 30-20. The Bucs defense had a huge game, forcing 4 turnovers in what seems like Drew Brees last game. Devin White, who missed the game against Washington, had a big game. He finished with 11 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception.
This win brings the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the NFC championship to play Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. They had played earlier this year where the Bucs dominated Green Bay all game. The final to that was 38-10. The Bucs look to repeat that game to move onto the Super Bowl which will be in Tampa Bay. Most of Florida is rooting for the Bucs, which would be their first Super Bowl appearance since 2002. Hopefully the Bucs have a great game, and they continue their dominance.
